Earlier today BBC Radio 1Xtra broadcast the final instalment of their “Hot for 2013” Live Lounge series of performances, with Angel Haze live in session at the famous Electric Lady studios in New York.
Whilst it was a technically brilliant rendition of “New York” and “Supreme” (taken from her “Reservation” mixtape), the performance wasn’t as impressive as I was expecting it to be as she rarely strayed from the lines.
Looking forward to seeing what she can properly do from the Maida Vale studios next time.
