A few months ago we posted up Artful‘s single Could Just Be The Bassline which featured Kal Levelle on vocals. Well, Mark Hill (the original Artful Dodger), creator of classics such as: Rewind, Movin’ Too Fast, Woman Trouble, Think About Me, and Please Don’t Turn Me On, the writer and producer of Craig David‘s seminal Born To Do It album has decided to run a remix competition for it.

The vocals and stems are being made available on his Facebook page, with a submission deadline date of 1 Feb. The winner and runners up have a chance to get their mixes released and promoted as an EP, and the winner will get a chance to remix the next single (with the possibility of spending a day with Mark in the studio working on it).

Whether you’re a professional musician or simply a bedroom enthusiast, this is definitely worth entering as the prizes are brilliant to say the least.
