The Ting Tings have struggled to make an impact following their short hiatus from music, with their brand new album “Sounds From Nowheresville” currently languishing at #13 in the UK Charts (as of today). Not a great surprise seeing as their 2010 comeback single “Hands” was awful, and their 2011 effort “Hang It Up” failed to even chart.

The duo took to Fearne Cotton‘s Live Lounge today to drum up a bit more publicity for the record, where they performed “Hang It Up” (which I have only ever heard thanks to Madeon‘s Hull Mix), and an experimental mashup/cover of Lana Del Rey‘s “Born To Die” with Ian Brown‘s anthemic “F.E.A.R.“.

However in true Ting Tings fashion they went and ruined the acoustic cover by randomly throwing in some random Skrillex samples the end. Way to go.
