The Streets may have gone out with a whimper last year but Mike Skinner isn’t finished with the music industry yet, not by a long shot. Thanks to Annie Mac’s “Free Music Monday” series, we are treated to an exclusive track called “And A Hero” from a collaboration between Skinner and The Music’s frontman Rob Harvey in a new project called The D.O.T.
I fell in love with this instantly on my first listen and I’m pretty sure you will too. There’s a few small breakdown sections that I’m not too keen on (with the first coming at 00:48), but apart from that the rest of “And A Hero” is simply sublime.
