Masked producer extraordinaire SBTRKT was invited into Radio 1′s Live Lounge this morning with Annie Mac where he delivered a super extended seven and a half minute long live rendition of Hold On alongside Sampha, as well as a brilliant cover of the Friendly Fires‘ euphoric single Blue Cassette.
The two musicians worked flawlessly alongside each other, having to juggle the operation of a plethora of instruments in order to deliver that trademark SBTRKT sound. Definitely one of the most interesting Live Lounge features I have heard in a long, long time.
