First up we have the Penguin Prison remix, which takes Starry Eyed in a whole new direction. Starsmith’s jazzed up synths have been removed and replaced with heavy hitting snares and warm electro bass. Penguin Prison also treats us to a fantastic cameo from the Brooklyn based hip hop phenomenon Theophilus London. These are three of the most hyped names in music right now, so when you expect this track to be nothing short of amazing, it doesn’t come as a surprise that they duly deliver.

As for the Velo Edit of Starry Eyed? I was tempted to say it was totally different to any other version I have heard so far, but with more listens it sounds like a darker, harder version of Penguin Prison’s offering. The upbeat nature of the original is turned on its head thanks to haunting gospel vocals and an epic drum breakdown.
