“I’ve got some crazy remix news,†Boys Noize announced to his legion of Twitter followers all the way back in September 2012. “One of my heroes has remixed XTC!†– which turned out the be the legendary Chemical Brothers, who are known for not taking on a lot of this kind of work. But of course Boys Noize did an epic remix of their single “Swoon” back in 2010, so he was definitely owed a favour.
Their remix of “XTC“, taken from the most recent Boys Noize album “Out Of The Black“, will appear on a 12-inch single of remixes which coincides with the 100th release from Boysnoize Records. The Chemical Brothers effort will occupy Side A of BNR100, while on the other side, Justice have taken on “Ich R U“.
