Last time we featured Ben Remember was when he dropped the still incredible house tune “Moving Hearts“, but the latest upload “For A Mother” is a million miles away from that. This track strays into movie OST territory with a host of powerful underlying strings accompanying  a driven piano melody all the way up until the inevitable, powerful crescendo. All those words were written before realising what was posted on the song’s SoundCloud page:

“I wrote this for my mum a week before she died. she never got to hear it as she was taken to hospital before seeing the download file prompt on Skype. It’s still sat waiting for a response.”

Wow.
