If any upcoming artist who wasn’t included in the BBC Sound of 2014 posts music in the next few days I’m going to see it as a direct “fuck you” to the ‘tastemakers’ who neglected to vote for them. If anyone was to lead the charge for the revolution it would be Ben Khan, who has been making a serious impact on our listening habits over the past few months. Today he dropped a new track called “Savage” via his SoundCloud account, and it’s everything we have come to expect from him.

“Savage” is yet another bombastic effort, full of moody synths, slick guitar riffs, and random interjections of noise that just cement his presence as artist that simply cannot be ignored. Yes, the Jai Paul influences are evident, but honestly we are past the point of caring.
