I’ll confess I did enjoy Anna Kendrick’s acapella battle movie “Pitch Perfect” even though I didn’t think I was into ‘Glee Club’. There was a memorable scene in the movie where she sings a sweet song with the assistance of a lone cup. She ended up recording and releasing that song officially and it’s been shooting up the Billboard charts recently.

Although I enjoyed the words and melody, I wasn’t a huge fan of the arrangement. It’s possible that  jellosea felt the same way as he decided to make the song completely his own with this latest remix. It has a deeper, more sensual sound that is surrounded by melodic and futuristic synths to create this brilliant track. It sounds nothing like the original, and I must say that personally, it outshines it. This is exactly what great remixes are all about.
