
As hyped for the past couple of months, Kanye West was the special guest musical performer on the season close of Saturday Night Live. Even though he has thrown shade to the show in the past, it seems that he was welcomed back with open arms which allowed him to perform two brand new songs, “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves”, from his forthcoming album “Yeezus” which drops June 18th.

We’ve been waiting to hear new material from The Weeknd‘s forthcoming debut album “Kiss Land“, and earlier today Abel uploaded the title track from the project.
Formula wise, “Kiss Land” is exactly the same as the material we have come to expect from the talented singer/songwriter, but is it on par with his back catalogue? Let us know in the comments section below:

Columbia Records are in safe hands for the future, and no, not because Daft Punk are breaking sales records left, right, and centre. The reason is that have the powerhouse that is Neon Gold providing them with uncut diamond after uncut diamond. Their latest discovery is LA based Smallpools who sound like they could fulfil the electropop prophecy that Strange Talk were so close to realising.
Smallpools are a band that sound like they could hook almost anyone on first listen, and their debut single “Dreaming” is case-in-point. Grab the free download below:

Surprisingly Tom Odell was a guest on Mistajam’s 1Xtra show last night where he unveiled a steller remix of his breakout single “Another Love” by rising producer Naughty Boy. The Watford based producer goes all orchestral on this monster remix which now has a really grandiose aura to it.
