With the amount of success that The 1975 are enjoying right now it’s not surprising that we are starting to see a few more bands in a similar vein striking for mainstream recognition. Jakil are a quintet from Edinburgh who currently have two catchy tunes under their belt and available to the public, the latest being “Istanbul“, which is due for release on 28 September via Sticky Lips Music.

No doubt this will stick in your head, but does anyone else hear the Patrick Stump vocal similarities on this one?!
