Ibeyi are probably one of the best put together acts that we have seen in quite some time. From their backstory (Cuban-born, Paris-based twin sisters who sing in French, English, Spanish and Yoruba), to their effortless synergy and unique sound, these new XL signees are already the total package in my opinion.

Whilst their new single “Mama Says” might not be the best release we have heard from them thus far, we just couldn’t go on any longer with our secret fandom.
