I’m not really sure why I’m posting this up as I’ve lost a lot of respect for Craig as a person, but I figure that he needs all the help he can get at the moment.

After signing a new record deal with Universal, Craig has bizarrely decided to record an album of cover songs from the Motown era. While I would normally be supportive of this if Craig David was at the top of his game in the music industry, the fact is that he isn’t. I would have thought he should concentrate on bringing us an album which could live up to his “Born To Do It” legacy. Oh well.

Anyway his first single from the album, One More Lie (Standing In The Shadows) is obviously a cover of the famous Four Tops version. It’s not a bad track at all, but I don’t think it will put Craig back to where he wants to be.
