Majid Jordan’s new EP “A Place Like This” is currently available to pre-order on iTunes before it drops on July 22. This post is purely here to tell you to do exactly that. For a group that rose to prominence on possibly the greatest single release of 2013 in Drake’s “Hold On (We’re Coming Home)” we have to admit that we had quite high hopes for the quality of this release even though they have a limited body of work to study. The 5 track EP is really stunning entrance for the duo, and I have hardly been able to tear myself away from listening to release since the first play.

It looks as though they should be able to carve their own lane in the R&B world, and with Drake by their side they should be able to get the crucial promotional push they require. I’m buying this EP and you should too, it is one of the best releases of the year so far.
