Ellie Goulding is a Welsh singer–songwriter who has been subject of a bidding war – won finally by Polydor Records. She is currently recording her debut album, which is due to be released in the first quarter of 2010. For the majority of the album, Goulding worked with producer Starsmith who is good friends with Frankmusik.

The first taste of Goulding’s potential comes in the form of her debut single Under The Sheets which peaked at number 53 in the UK charts earlier in the year. It’s an addictive pop song which kind-mixes Imogen Heap’s vocal acrobatics with the simplistic melodies of Lykke Li. Listen below to more:
